Audience favorite Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC) returns to New Orleans with a thrilling program of bold artistry, iconic choreography, and emotional power.

This performance features two rarely seen gems by the legendary Bob Fosse—Sweet Gwen Suite and Percussion IV—presented through an exclusive partnership with The Verdon Fosse Legacy. As the only company in the world licensed to perform Fosse’s choreography, HSDC offers audiences a rare chance to witness his signature style live on stage.

Founded in 1977, HSDC has grown from a local ensemble into a globally recognized force in contemporary dance, known for its virtuosic dancers and daring repertory. Under the direction of Artistic Director Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell, the company continues to evolve with work that is dynamic, expressive, and deeply human.

The program also includes powerful new works by acclaimed choreographers such as Matthew Rushing of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Aszure Barton, HSDC’s Resident Choreographer—both known for creating physically inventive, emotionally resonant movement.

Praised by The New York Times as “a cure for the ills of the era,” Hubbard Street delivers “an ebullient and masterful performance by a company in top form” (Third Coast Review).

Programming subject to change.
